How to Set Up IPTV on a Fire TV Stick: Step by Step

The Fire TV Stick is one of the most popular streaming devices – affordable, compact and quick to set up. In this guide we show you how to use your IPTV subscription on it in just a few minutes.

What you need

• A Fire TV Stick with Fire OS (for 4K: Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max). Note: models with Vega OS such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Select don’t allow IPTV apps – more in best Fire TV Stick for IPTV.
• A stable internet connection
• Your login details from our WhatsApp message (or a free 24-hour trial)

Step 1: Install the “Downloader” app

The recommended IPTV player apps aren’t in the Amazon Appstore, so you install them with the free Downloader app:

1. On the home screen, go to Search (magnifying glass).
2. Type “Downloader” and install the app with the orange icon.

Step 2: Allow apps from unknown sources

1. Open Settings → My Fire TV.
2. If you don’t see Developer options: go to About and click your device name (e.g. “Fire TV Stick”) seven times. Developer options will then appear.
3. Open Developer options → Install unknown apps and enable Downloader.

Step 3: Install your IPTV player

Open Downloader and enter the code of the app you want:

• IBO Player Pro: code 923441
• TiviMate: code 272483

Press Go, wait for the download and tap Install.

Step 4: Enter your login details

• TiviMate: open the app → Add playlist → Xtream Codes → enter the server URL, username and password from our WhatsApp message.
• IBO Player Pro: open the app and send us the MAC address and device key from the start screen – we add your playlist. Then restart the app once.

Tips for smooth, buffer-free streaming

• Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi: an Ethernet adapter for the Fire TV Stick makes 4K far more stable.
• Restart: if it suddenly buffers, restarting the stick and router often helps.
• Free up storage: uninstall apps you don’t need – the stick has little storage.
