How to Set Up IPTV on Apple TV

Step by step: how to set up IPTV on Apple TV

Get IBO Player Pro from the App Store
Open the App Store on the Apple TV, search for “IBO Player Pro” and download the app. Look for the small “Pro” badge in the logo.

Note your MAC address and device key
Open the app. The start screen shows “Mac Address” and “Device Key”.

Send the values via WhatsApp
Send us both values via our “IBO activation” page – WhatsApp opens with a ready-made message. We add the playlist.

Restart the app
Double-click the TV button, swipe the app up to close it and open it again.

Start watching
Your channels, movies and series appear automatically. The remote’s touchpad lets you scroll quickly through the lists.
Tip: for 4K channels you need an Apple TV 4K and a 4K TV. It runs most stably with an Ethernet cable on the Apple TV.
Alternative: other apps from the App Store
The App Store has other IPTV players that support Xtream Codes or M3U. Our subscription generally works with all of them – but we recommend IBO Player Pro because we handle the setup for you there.
Fixing problems on Apple TV
I can’t find the app in the App Store
Check that your Apple TV is on the latest tvOS. Very old Apple TV generations (before Apple TV HD) don’t support App Store apps.
No playlist appears
Close the app completely and open it again. If the MAC address in the app doesn’t match the one you sent, send us the current one.
The picture stutters in 4K
Switch to an Ethernet cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and choose the HD version of the channel on a weak connection.
