How to Set Up IPTV on Fire TV
On the Amazon Fire TV Stick we recommend the TiviMate app. Because it isn’t in the Amazon Appstore, you install it with the free “Downloader” app – it only takes a few minutes.

- Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max (a 4K model for 4K channels)
- Internet from 16 Mbps for HD, 50 Mbps for 4K – ideally via an Ethernet adapter
- Your login details from our WhatsApp message (purchase or 24h trial)

Step by step: how to set up IPTV on Fire TV

Install Downloader
On the home screen go to “Search” (magnifying glass), type “Downloader” and install the app with the orange icon from the Amazon Appstore.

Allow apps from unknown sources
Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps and enable “Downloader”. If developer options are missing, click the device name seven times under “About”.

Install TiviMate with the code
Open Downloader, enter the code 272483 and press “Go”. Wait for the download and tap “Install”. You can delete the installation file afterwards.

Enter your login
Start TiviMate → “Add playlist” → “Xtream Codes”. Enter the server URL, username and password from our WhatsApp message and confirm with “Next”.

Start watching
TiviMate loads channels, movies, series and the TV guide. The first start takes a moment – then you see the channel list on the left and the current programme next to it.
Tip: an Ethernet adapter for the Fire TV Stick makes 4K far more stable than Wi-Fi. Many TiviMate convenience features (such as multiple playlists) require TiviMate Premium, which you buy directly from the app developer.
Alternative: IBO Player Pro on Fire TV
You can also use IBO Player Pro on Fire TV. Enter the code 923441 in Downloader. Instead of typing your login, you send us the MAC address and device key from the app – we add your playlist. The app is free for 7 days, then you need a licence from the developer.
Fixing problems on Fire TV
“Install unknown apps” is missing
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About and click the device name seven times. Developer options with “Install unknown apps” will then appear.
Downloader shows an error for the code
Check your internet connection and enter the code again carefully. If that doesn’t help, restart the Fire TV (Settings → My Fire TV → Restart) and try again.
The picture buffers or freezes
Restart the stick and router, close other apps and increase the buffer in TiviMate under Settings → Playback. For 4K an Ethernet adapter helps most.
Storage is full
The Fire TV Stick has little storage. Delete the downloaded installation file in Downloader and uninstall apps you don’t use.
FAQ: IPTV on Fire TV
Does this work on the Fire TV Stick 4K Select?
No. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select runs Amazon’s new Vega OS, which doesn’t allow installing apps from outside the Amazon Appstore – so no TiviMate via Downloader. When buying, choose a model with Fire OS or use a Google TV or Android TV device.
Is Downloader safe?
Downloader is a well-known free app from the Amazon Appstore. Just make sure you only use codes from trusted sources – such as the codes on this page.
Which Fire TV Stick is best for IPTV?
For 4K channels you need the Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max. The basic model is enough for HD. The 4K Max is more powerful and a little quicker with large channel lists.
Can I switch developer options off again?
Yes. After installation you can disable “Install unknown apps” for Downloader again. TiviMate keeps working.
