How to Set Up IPTV on Xiaomi Mi Box & TV Stick

What you need

• Xiaomi Mi Box S, Mi TV Box S (2nd gen) or Mi TV Stick
• Internet from 16 Mbps for HD, 50 Mbps for 4K (4K needs the Box S or Mi TV Stick 4K)
• A Google account
• Your login details from our WhatsApp message

Step by step: how to set up IPTV on Xiaomi Mi Box & TV Stick

   Step 1

   Install TiviMate from the Play Store

   Open the Google Play Store on the box, search for “TiviMate IPTV Player” and install the app.

   Enter your login

   Start TiviMate → “Add playlist” → “Xtream Codes” and enter the server URL, username and password.

   Step 3

   Wait for loading

   TiviMate loads channels, movies, series and the TV guide. The first start takes a moment.

   Start watching

   Pick a channel and long-press to add favourites. The menu gives you movies and series.

Tip: the Mi TV Stick (without “4K”) only supports Full HD. For 4K channels you need the Mi Box S or the Mi TV Stick 4K.

Fixing problems on Xiaomi Mi Box & TV Stick

• The box gets warm and the picture lags

  Place the box in the open, not behind the TV. A restart (briefly unplug the power cable) clears the memory.

• Low storage

  Delete apps you don’t need and clear TiviMate’s cache in the settings.

• Wi-Fi keeps dropping

  Use your router’s 5 GHz Wi-Fi and place the box as close to the router as possible.
