How to Set Up IPTV on iPhone & iPad
On iPhone and iPad we recommend IBO Player Pro from the App Store. Watch live TV, movies and series on the go – on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
What you need
- iPhone or iPad with a current iOS / iPadOS
- Wi-Fi or mobile data (note: streaming uses a lot of data)
- An Apple ID to download the app
- WhatsApp on the device
Step by step: how to set up IPTV on iPhone & iPad
- 1
Step 1
Install IBO Player Pro
Open the App Store, search for “IBO Player Pro” and download the app. Look for the “Pro” badge in the logo.
- 2
Step 2
Copy your MAC address and device key
Open the app. The start screen shows “Mac Address” and “Device Key” – take a screenshot.
- 3
Step 3
Send the values via WhatsApp
Open our “IBO activation” page on the same device, enter both values and send the message. We add your playlist.
- 4
Step 4
Restart the app
Swipe the app up in the app switcher to close it, then open it again.
- 5
Step 5
Start watching
Your channels, movies and series appear. Turn the device to landscape for the full picture.
Tip: one hour of HD streaming uses roughly 1.5 to 3 GB of data, 4K considerably more. On the go, better watch on Wi-Fi or in a lower quality.
Alternative: IPTV Smarters
IPTV Smarters is also available in the App Store. There you log in with Xtream Codes – the server URL, username and password from our WhatsApp message.
Fixing problems on iPhone & iPad
The picture loads poorly on mobile data
Check your mobile connection (at least 4G/LTE) and choose the HD or SD version of the channel with weak reception.
No sound via AirPods or speakers
Check the audio output in Control Centre and turn off the iPhone’s silent switch. Restarting the app often helps.
The playlist doesn’t appear
Close the app completely and open it again. If the MAC address doesn’t match, send us the one currently shown.
